Description
For the steel and stainless steel, the sides are 10 gauge and the sole is 1/4″. The brass sides are 1/8″.
The infill wood is mesquite or black walnut in all of them. We really like mesquite as a plane wood, both for its beauty and also for the fact that it has one of the lowest volumetric shrinkage numbers of any wood in the world, which is what you need for an infill wood.
The working parts of the planes are identical to the wooden Blum planes, so all the accessories and options interchange.
You will need to choose from a few options when ordering or as always, feel free to give me a call to discuss them.
- Sharpening jig
- Hex driver
- Torx plus hex bit
- Roll of 150 sandpaper
- 2 blades
